1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE
The vertical turning lathe SC 40/43 CNC/ATC 01 with one vertical rail head is designed for machining of medium sized castings and weldments of different shapes, by rough and finish operations of:
 turning
 threading
 tapping
The machine is basically designed on the following structure:
 the bed and the table
 the two column frame, closed by an upper closing cross beam
 the cross rail, vertically displaceable along the column guide ways
 the rail head, built for turning
