Ammonia Refrigeration Machine Room Set

We offer a complete package of process vessels and key equipment forming part of an industrial ammonia refrigeration machine room, including one twin-screw compressor unit for -40°C operation, together with the main NH₃ vessels and auxiliary equipment, all manufactured in 2007. The set is suitable for industrial refrigeration applications including compression, oil cooling, intercooling, oil separation, liquid separation, condensation, liquid distribution, and oil collection.

Main equipment included:

Twin-screw compressor unit GEA Grasso Duo-Pack PB-3A for -40°C operation — complete compressor package with two screw compressors mounted on a common frame. Technical data from the attachment include: refrigerant NH₃, refrigeration capacity 301 kW (with economizer), shaft power 2 × 104 kW, motor power 2 × 132 kW, speed 2940 rpm, evaporating temperature -40°C, condensing temperature +35°C, economizer temperature -22°C, dimensions 3830 × 2370 × 2300 mm, weight 6380 kg, suction connection 2 × DN 125, discharge connection DN 100, and oil charge 160 kg. Oil cooling system: ammonia thermosyphon. Control system: GSC

Oil cooler for screw compressor unit, serial no. 170049, design pressure 23/23 bar, volume 96 / 70 dm³, temperature range 0/+60°C and 0/+100°C, working media ammonia / oil + NH₃.

Economizer / intercooler vessel, serial no. 19103, allowable pressure 12 bar, volume 1000 dm³, temperature range -40/+100°C, working medium NH₃.

Oil separator, serial no. 5281, design pressure 23 bar, volume 0.620 m³, temperature range +5/+110°C, working medium NH₃ + oil.

Horizontal liquid separator, serial no. 19102, allowable pressure 12 bar, volume 3400 dm³, temperature range -40/+50°C, working medium NH₃.

Evaporative condenser coil, serial no. H070979, design pressure -1/23 bar, volume 638 dm³, temperature range -20/+120°C, working medium NH₃, capacity 745 kW.

Thermosyphon / liquid receiver, serial no. 19100, allowable pressure 18 bar, volume 620 dm³, temperature range +1/+100°C, working medium NH₃.

Oil drain tank, serial no. 19104, allowable pressure 18 bar, volume 70 dm³, temperature range -40/+150°C, working medium oil + NH₃.

The equipment is suitable for reuse in industrial refrigeration systems, retrofit projects, or as a source of high-value NH₃ machine room components, subject to technical verification and local compliance requirements.

The installation is not dismantled, the potential buyer must include the costs of dismantling.
