Description

Stenner VHJ band resaw, machine size 105, made by Stenner of Tiverton, one of the UK's most respected names in sawmilling machinery. It's a heavy-duty, cast-iron industrial resaw that has been used and maintained in a professional sawmill, with full records kept throughout its working life.

Specification

• Motor: 18.5 kW MEZ three-phase motor (type C180M04), 400V
• Braking: Fitted with electric motor braking for fast blade run-down, in line with UK PUWER requirements for woodworking machinery
• 3-phase supply required

Condition
Fully operational. Last serviced 30 March 2026, with the next service not due until March 2027.

Maintenance history
• Regular documented safety inspections every year since 2016
• Professional servicing by specialist engineers, including services in 2022, 2023, 2024 and March 2026
• Wheels professionally refaced on site by Perman Stanley Ltd (saw pulley refacing specialists) in April 2023, with alignment and setup checked
• Further service in December 2023
• Service and repair in April 2024
